For both couples and singles, there are plenty of unique activities and events going on for Valentine’s Day in New York City. Whether you’re into hilarity or romance, celebrate the day of love and plan on one of these fun affairs.
Things to Do for Valentine’s Day in NYC
Cupid’s Undie Run
If you’re into being a little crazy, consider doing Cupid’s Undie Run. For this mad dash, participants race in their underwear in the February cold for a good cause. The event starts at 12 noon on February 18. The run is a mile long, and runners can attend the after-party at Stage 48 after they cross the finish line.
Your Love, Our Musical NYC
See a musical with a creative twist that might just feature your love story, if you’re lucky. Your Love, Our Musical is an improv show that takes the love story of a random couple from the audience and turns it into a show complete with song and dance. See it Sunday, February 12 at The Bell House in Brooklyn.
Romance Under the Stars
The Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History will host Romance Under the Stars, a Valentine’s Day party for the starry-eyed. A cocktail and hors d’oeuvres hour in the Cullman Hall of the Universe will be serenaded by a jazz quartet, followed by a session about romance, mythology, and the stars in the Hayden Planetarium.
