Entering into its 10th year, the Food Network & Cooking Channel Food and Wine Festival 2017  (NYCWFF) celebrates in one of the greatest dining cities in the world – the Big Apple! It is the only festival in New York to bring together both the world’s best chefs and wine experts and America's most beloved television chefs with a list that includes the likes of Mario Batali, Alton Brown, Anne Burrell and Robert Irvine.

NYCWFF is hailed as the largest food and wine festival in the city! Over 100 events will take place between October 12-October 15th, celebrating the country’s favorite dishes, intimate dinners with world-renowned chefs, late night parties, hands-on classes, educational seminars, wine tastings and more.

“Eat. Drink. End Hunger” the Food and Wine Festival in New York City makes great strides to stamp out hunger with over $10.5 Million raised for Food Bank For New York City and Share Our Strength®!

Carnegie Hall events have been entertaining crowds since the very first performance by Franz Rummel in 1891 who performed in the lower-level Recital Hall where Zankel Hall is today. Throughout the years, Carnegie Hall has welcomed world-renowned artists and will continue to do so with a brand new season of performances for 2017-2018.

Some of the highlights of this year’s Carnegie Hall events

The 2017–2018 Season Launches with Gala Performance by Yannick Nézet-Séguin and The Philadelphia Orchestra, Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Leonard Bernstein’s Birthday. Jazz artist Chick Corea will join world-renowned pianist Lang Lang as featured soloists at Carnegie Hall’s Opening Night Gala concert October 4 and perform a two-piano arrangement of Gershwin’s jazz-influenced Rhapsody in Blue.

On October 27, guests will be treated to the sounds of Grammy Award winning Rickie Lee Jones. That same date, the New York Pops begin their 25th season at Carnegie Hall with a special anniversary concert.

To celebrate the holiday season, The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is performed on December 15 and 16, two holiday concerts featuring special guest Megan Hilty.

The season continues with some amazing concerts through 2018.

Join the celebration of US and International film making this September 28 through October 15th. The NYC Film Festival enters its 55th year with the Film Society of Lincoln Center and features the best from celebrated filmmakers as well as new and emerging talent. Films are not the sole focus of the event, which includes panel discussions, presentations by filmmakers, screenings of restored classics, and an Avant-Garde showcase, among other events.

The NYFF showcases featured screenings that represent the best of the event and the year’s most fascinating and engaging films, and the lion’s share of these are either world premieres or U.S. premieres. The main events are followed by invitation-only after-parties. Members of the Film Society at the Film Buff level get advance ticket access to these and more.

NYFF55 Opening Night is Richard Linklater’s Last Flag Flying, Todd Haynes’s Wonderstruck is Centerpiece, and Woody Allen’s Wonder Wheel will close the festival.

Tickets for the 55th New York Film Festival will go on sale September 10. Members can get get discounts and early ticket access at NYFF with VIP passes and packages.
