The New York City St. Patrick’s Day parade has been marching since 1762 – and is one of the city’s oldest and proudest Irish traditions. Over 1 million spectators can’t be wrong – Erin Go Bragh!

The Parade takes place on Saturday March 17, 2018 at 11am with more than 150,000 marchers, bands and bagpipes and can be viewed an be viewed along 5th Avenue between 44th Street and 79th Street

The New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade marched for the first time more than 250 years ago, on March 17, 1762 - fourteen years before the Declaration of Independence and is run completely by volunteers.

On March 10 visitors of the Times Square Wine Festival presented by New York Wine Events can sample hundreds of world class wines. Tastings include reds, whites, traditional blends, and unique combinations. Great wine deserves great food to go along with it, so there will also be many hors d’oeuvres and other treats on hand.

The NYC Half is one of the most popular half marathons in the United States taking runners on an incredible 13.1-mile tour of the city, Filled with elites and professionals, as well as average runners that love the sport, this year's race takes place on March 18, 2018. Athletes from around the world travel to NYC to take part in this annual event.

Since the race began in 2006, it has always started in Central Park and finished in Lower Manhattan. This year ushers in a new course, which puts the start at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn and travels much of the former course in reverse, ending in Central Park. As a result of this change, the cap for runners has increased to 22,500, allowing for even more participants than ever before.

The United Airlines NYC Half Expo presented by New Balance takes place at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Free to the public, the Expo is a great place to pick up running merchandise and souvenirs as well as seek advice from experts and professional runners.

At New York City Winter Restaurant Week you can enjoy pre fixe dining at some of Manhattan’s most sought after restaurants. Over 300 New York City dining establishments participating will offer three course menus for a fixed price.

The event takes place January 22 through February 9th and reservations are highly encouraged. As of January 8th, you can visit NYCGO to check out which restaurants will be participating and to secure your table.

Take advantage of prix fixe dining: $29 lunches or $42 dinners with 3 courses, appetizer, entrée and dessert.

Most restaurants will have a choice of three options for each course and at least two options for dessert. These businesses will be putting out their best, so it’s a great opportunity to find a new favorite place to try.

NYC Winter Restaurant Week - The city’s semiannual celebration of fine dining at an affordable price. At NYC Restaurant Week, participating restaurants offer three-course prix-fixe menus specially priced for lunch and/or dinner. This is your opportunity to try something new as restaurants will feature at least three choices for appetizers, three choices for entrées and at least two desserts. Reservations open up on January 8, 2018 for the dining event that takes place January 22–February 9.

Broadway Week – The savings continue on Broadway in January as well. Some of the best shows on the Great White Way will feature buy one, get one free tickets. Participating performances will be announced on January 5th, the same day the tickets go on sale and all Broadway Week shows will take place between January 16 and February 4.
