Highlights of Upcoming Broadway Shows

Mean Girls – Opening April 8, this production is a fun musical adaptation of the hit 2004 film comedy about rivalries among high school girls, written by Jeff Richmond and Nell Benjamin (music & lyrics), originated from the book written by Saturday Night Live alumni, Tina Fey.
My Fair Lady – Opening April 19, brings back the classic musical version of Shaw's Pygmalion.
Summer: The Donna Summer Musical – Will open April 23. This musical biography showcases the career of Donna Summer, using the songs she made famous, including “Hot Stuff,” “On the Radio,” “Bad Girls,” and “MacArthur Park.”
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Part 1 & 2- Opens on April 22. This original stage play continues the story of Harry Potter, his friends, and his son, in a time-traveling adventure to save the world from Voldemort.

The Best of the Tribeca Film Festival

Get ready for Schindler’s List, Scarface and In The Soup at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.

What started in 2001 to help revitalize the city, the Tribeca Film Festival®, in its 17th year, is nothing short of amazing. This celebrity studded affair is the perfect creative platform for filmmakers to present their work in a demonstration of art uniting community.

Guests will be treated to the art of storytelling presented in a variety of formats including film, television, virtual reality, gaming, music, and online work for not only well-known filmmakers and artists but emerging and creators.

The Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 18th – 29th at various locations throughout the city. Highlights of the 2018 events include:

  • Anniversary screenings of Schindler’s List, Scarface and In the Soup with post-screening discussions that include contributions by Steve Buscemi, Brian De Palma, Beng Kingsley, Liam Neeson, Al Pacion, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sam Rockwell, Steven Spielberg.
  • Tribeca Talks with Alec Baldwin, Edward Burns, Bradley Cooper, Claire Danes, Jamie Foxx, Lesli Link Glatter, Spike Lee, John Legend, Nacy Meyers, Sarah Jessica Parker, Alexander Payne, Laura Poitras, Jason Reitman and more.

Easter Parade in New York City
The annual Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival is where people put on their fanciest clothes, don Easter bonnets, and march down 5th Avenue. You can either join the march or watch the pageantry. The parade will start at 10 a.m.

Easter Celebration at CMOM
The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is throwing an Easter celebration complete with a museum-wide Easter egg scavenger hunt. Kids who find them all get a prize.

Easter Brunch in Manhattan
